Abstract figures don’t necessarily depict anything, but they can be interesting as the building blocks for a figurative realization. A self portrait seemed like a good challenge, because the figuration requires close attention and because in this genre you can also take into account personality and recognizability. This self portrait was developed using two different media. Starting on a white piece of paper, moving towards the digital platform to return to a print, which brings back tangibility. The sense of freedom, central to this work, helped me to create something tangible and valuable from pure abstract images.
